Kang Koo's or Kang Goo's story is about two main character, Kyung-Tae and Moon-Sook. Kyung-Tae (Lee Dong-Wook) is cold-blooded and thought as a good-for-nothing guy. To take of his dead friend's older sister Moon-Sook (Park Joo-Mi) and nephew Kang-Koo. Kyung-Tae goes to Ganggu Harbor in Yeongdeok, South Korea. He takes care of Kang-Koo who is cautious around unfamiliar Kyung-Tae and Kyung-Tae falls in love with Moon-Sook who is ill.
